Looking for a way to filter categories to create a list for ticket purchases

I need a plugin that will give me the capability to filter categories for ticket purchases to enable to check ticket holders at the door. Standard VirtueMart shows all purchases but I need to be able to expand on the 'report' screen so you can click on each ticket type and see who bought it and print it out.
I see there are extensions that are detailed reports but am wondering if there is an extension or an easier way to add this feature without the detailed reports?
