update VirtueMart 3.4.2 to 3.4.5

Is it safe to update from 3.4.2 to 3.4.5 ?
Update don't show in update within Joomla.

VM3.4.5 is a development version, there are still additions being made to the core, but as far as I am concerned it is suitable to use. http://demo.virtuemart.net is running VirtueMart 3.4.5.10042, the current publicly available version is  http://dev.virtuemart.net/attachments/1160/com_virtuemart.3.4.5.10045_package_or_extract.zip

It is possible that you have 3rd party extensions that do not work with this version, as VM releases cannot be tested in every possible situation, so the standard advice is to install on a backup of the live site and test for any issues before going live.  The more people who test the better the final release will be.

The new uploaded current version is http://dev.virtuemart.net/attachments/1163/com_virtuemart.3.4.5.10057_package_or_extract.zip

and I think it is pretty stable. Actually it should be now better than the currently released vm3.4.2. So the best is a test on a clone. There is still a bit work todo with the calculation rules per bill maybe.
