[SOLVED] VM 3.4.2 - editaddresscart&addrty error 0 on checkout

Running latest J! and VM 3.2., I get an Error 0 when clicking checkout on way to payment information.  This is the address of the page with the error on it:

index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=user&task=editaddresscart&addrtype=BT

There are no error messages on screen even though J! is set to display-errors:Maximum.  Any help is appreciated

I figured it out:  I'm running php 7.0 and minimum for 3.4.2 is php 7.1

VM3.4.2 runs OK on PHP7.0 - and also on PHP5.6 - so must have been some other reason.
