Order canceled by user

Hello there, I'm new in the forum.

I had a strange issue in my shop, a couple of days ago.
One customers paid via PayPal for an order. Then, after three hours, the order was canceled with the message: "Canceled by the shooper" (see picture).

I don't know how a user can do that...
Anyway, the payment it's still in our PayPal without any cancellation so we don't know if we have to ship or not.

I wrote to the customer but he didn't reply me.
I'm afraid for a fraud.

First time in five years of VM that I have a issue like this.

Hello

This has also happened to me a couple of times. This is connected to how the user reacts and leaves Paypal and Virtuemart. Refreshing the checkout on reentry could maybe cause this to happen. I am not sure. Check the transaction in PayPal. If it is still confirmed in You PayPal account then the IPN-communication between Your shop and PayPal has been disturbed. If confirmed in Paypal You can safely ship the order.
