Hi !
I've got the latest Joomla version with Virtue Mart setup, and installed the latest "Mobile Joomla" plugin so my customers can browse my site using their cellphones and tablets. Unfortunately VM doesn't work like it should when running this combination.

Is there anyone out there that has a Joomla with VM installed, and has it working on mobile devices ?? If so, what setup do you use ?

If you are using a good responsive Joomla template then the default VM templates show a responsive display apart from the checkout, where a suitable onepage checkout plugin can be used instead of the default. This works just fine on mobiles with no need at all for a "Mobile Joomla" plugin.  With a few small CSS changes the mobile display can be made better that the default without using an OPC plugin.

As an example of VM in a responsive Joomla/VM template see http://horme3pro.olympianthemes.com/
