Kia K.

Hello,

I'm learning how to use Virtuemart 3 for a fashion site I'm working on. I want to display featured products in my category browse view. At first I had all the products displayed beneath the two Categories for Mens and Womens. But because I couldnt list them in a certain order I removed the view entirely but now I cant figure how to put them back. I would like to display featured products only in the category view or choose a preferred order of products being displayed under the two categories.

Under VM component, configuration, templates, category layout, I have the field set to default. I have show categories and show featured boxes checked, default number of categories in a row is 3 and default number of products in a row is 3. Rows for featured products is at 5. For my two Mens and Womens product categories they both have the Category Template field set to shop default and the Category Browse Page set to default. The Default Product Details Page is set to no override.

What am I missing?

Here is my site http://janaemiliafashion.com/

Please help,

Kia

On any page except VirtueMart homepage you should use a VM product module to display featured products.

I believe the page when clicking my Shop button in the top menu bar is the VirtueMart home page? Correct me if I'm wrong.

The featured products aren't showing on my VirtueMart homepage. I'll try using the VM - Featured Product module for other sub-categories to see how it works but how do I get them displayed on my HP?

You are using SEF so impossible to say!!!  FRom the page code the only div showing is <div class="category-view"> - in homepage view there would normally be a vendor escription above that and featured products etc below. So check your menu configuration.
