Virtuemart Category page on homepage works fine to show products, however when checking out from shopping cart, instead of going to individual page to save or checkout it goes to the home page to show the form or fields for address, etc.(with the other modules, which i don't want to happen). Is there a way to make the button go to its own page without going to back to homepage to complete the checkout process?

Here is the test site. www.performingartsunited.org/newsite

Mentioned may times before. Make a Joomla menu link to the cart, hidden if necessary.

Thank You for replying. Can you go into a little bit more detail? I was not part of the last thread that you are referring to. Once I create the link where do i put it? Thanks.

Maybe i need to be more clear of what is going on to see if, the approach to fix is the same solution given.

I have the home page set to virtue mart category to view products. Once click on the items it goes to the category showing all items listed (this is perfect). proceed to checkout and if the add address button is clicked to add info it goes to the home page to fill out the form, or if clicked on check out now (if address isn't selected), it shows the form on the home page with the other modules on the home page (not suppose to happen). this form switched from having category view of products to add address form.

I need to know how to have the form go to its own page. Like it use to when the category view for the home page was not set to default. Can you give me more explanation of how to fix this, like you mentioned before, if still the same way to fix. I would appreciate it. thanks.

IN ALL VM sites you MUST have a menu that points to the VM home page  ->  com_virtuemart

this menu can be hidden or shown.. doesn't matter

It is also good policy to have a menu also to the VM Cart-- again . nidden or shown doesn't matter
