Can VM do this?

Hello everyone,

We would like to use VM to create a new online store to sell curtains.

I would like to know if it is possible to do this:

• A customer has the option to enter their custom measurements
• Based on those measurements, the price (PRICEA) is calculated
• An additional option is available for the heading style. Three options are available and the price of these changes depending on the value of PRICEA

Basically, the complicated bit is that the heading style price must change depending on the initial price generated by entering the width and height measurements.

Does this make sense? Can it be done in VM?

I do not think standard VirtueMart can do this. You need to have/develop a custom field plugin which can do this for you.
