New with virtuemart, Question about shipping without invoice

Hi,
Before I start I would like to know whether I can solve this with virtuemart:
- we will distribute books of different publisher, we want the orders and the payment is with us, but our publisher should get the information about shipping and ship the items our clients ordered.
The client gets the invoice from us, so shipping is all with our publisher
The publilsher will bill us at the end of the month (nothing to do with virtuemart)
My knowledge:
1. Joomla, quite good
2.) CSS
3.) a bit of php
Would be very thankful if somebody tells me whether I can realize taht with virtuemart before I start...otherwise need another E-Commerce Software
