How do I change shopfront product categories order without core hack?

Happy New Year to everyone.

I'm running J3.4.8 and V3.0.12 and I wonder if there is a way to change the order of shopfront product categories, without making changes to file components\com_virtuemart\views\virtuemart\view.html.php. For example, I want the Latest Products to be shown before the Feautered Products. An override of the aforementioned file , as far as I know, is impossible. So, what I'm supposed to do? I think that it would be better if there was an option for the shopfront-products order in VM3 Configuration.

P.S.: Is there a way to add a "View All" link that  displays all the Latest or Featured Products accordingly  and not only the number of those in shopfront?
