Checkout not working

I'm new to virtuemart.
I have added all my articles, send methode and payment methode into the system but when I try to order something, it doens't work.

I have filled in all the forms, check't every box there is but when I click on submit, it just loads the same page again.
Same happends when I try to register a new user during the order.

Did some one had the same problem or knows how to solve this?

Ps. I have VirtueMart 3.0.10 and Joomla! 3.4.5

We do Dutch as well.. 

Ouch .. sorry but you chose the wrong template there...  I know it well -  it is truly rubbish .. spent many an unhappy hour with clients sites that used it

My advice is to save your self hours of frustration and get a decent template from e.g. https://www.virtuemarttemplates.eu/

Even if you get this thing to work it will break on your next VM update

I agree, bad template choice which contains code to alter VM function and often seems to screw up. Switch to Joomla's Protostar template to see if checkout works OK there.

Hello everyone. I am new to virtuemart too. Of course I have issues too. Created shop, added products, but when I want to checkout problems appear.
I cannot edit billing information, shipping adress, even proceed in checkout. All these links redirects me to your "connection is not private" error and after going thru that I am redirected to domain/component/virtuemart/narys/saskaitos_adresas?Itemid=0 (my website is in lithuanian). This path of course does not exist. Can anyone explain me what I am doing wrong? and how to fix it. I just want just to shop as guest and add my info to get purchase.

Have you got 'Enable SSL for sensitive areas' enabled and no ssl certificate?

won't work.. uncheck it

also looks like perhaps you have no Joomla menus to the VM homepage and cart

That worked - thank you GJC Web Design. In that website have 4 menu items with single categories and featured products in homepage.

you MUST have a menu to the VM home page ... hidden or otherwise... and it is recommened a menu to the cart  .. again what type doesn't matter.. it is just to provide an Itemid

I use VP Merchant now.
