Joomla & Virtuemart Website is using to many SQL resources

I'm currently building website using Joomla! 3.4.4 and Virtuemart 3.0.9 based on the JSN Force template. I'm experiencing an issue where when you add a product to the shopping cart sometime the site errors out saying there was no response from the server.
I talked to our hosting company (godaddy) and they informed me that the site is submitting to much data to the database.

Has anyone experienced this issue? Why is so much data being sent? I'm also using the module Custom Fields for All but I'm experiencing the same issue when that module is disabled.
