In vm2 you can edit the subject with language overrides. Search the language keys for COM_VIRTUEMART_MAIL_SUBJ_ and save a new override.

I have a problem with view user name in subject email confirming an order by the customer. How I can add customer full name in subject email?
Subject email VM  taken from language keys for COM_VIRTUEMART_MAIL_VENDOR_CONTENT="Hello %1$s, <br /> %2$s confirmed an order with a total of %3$s, his/her order number = %4$s", but this record don't  display customer name.

Hi,

having the same issue with the email subjects. The string:
COM_VIRTUEMART_MAIL_SUBJ_SHOPPER_U
[%3$s], Order confirmed by %1$s, total %2$s

Is %1$s supposed to be the name of the person who ordered? It gives the name of the shop not the shopper. This same format is in all email subjects and they seem to be all mixed up and not logical. Would be so good to have the emails and the subjects easily configured from the settings of VM2. IT is a bit difficult if they must be edited via PHP... for us non-coders that goes a bit over hear  ???

Is that %4$s usable already? Does anyone know?

Greetings,
Anne

Hi,

I think you can find the subject here, /var/www/site/components/com_virtuemart/views/invoice/view.html.php.
The email subjects for the vendor and shopper were specified here. Just search for "subject" in your editor.

Hope it helps.
