Hi All

I am a new arrival here. Now use joomla 2.5 and virtuemart 2.02 to create a new e-commerce website. I installed all sample data. When I create a new category in virtuemart, always get a warning message "JCacheStorageFile::_deleteFolderFailed deleting 4a4f2389e453f6de7684e859a814198a-cache-_virtuemart-2aa01bbd3fbe485175cd81e84ec53719.php". Is there anybody can let me know why I get this? Many thanks

Milbo

I think you cache folder is not readable for php user. Check in your joomla config if your directories are readable

Thank you for your reply. How to check if it is readable. I checked the "cache" folder through FTP software and the folder attributes is xxx. I tried to change it to 777 but when I got back to see it was still xxx.  I installed joomla 1.5 and virtuemart2.00 before and had not got this warning message. would appreciate it if any suggestion. Many thanks

in case this helps anyone:
just had the same problem and found it was the cache folder in administrator - changed to 777, fixed!
(changing cache folder in root didn't help...)
