error message on "/logs/com_virtuemart.log.php permissions "

Hi,

Recently I've got an issue when trying to add images to new products and categories as follow:

Could not write in file D:\Hosting\000000\html\name..../logs/com_virtuemart.log.php to store log information. Check your file D:\Hosting\000000\html\name..../logs/com_virtuemart.log.php permissions.

Joomla! 2.5.27
VM:  2.0.26d

Got stuck.....appreciate any help..

make sure the permissions on /logs/  are 755 and /logs/com_virtuemart.log.php are 644

Hi,

It's me again and took your advise. Contacted Godaddy and didn't have much luck.
Using filezilla i tried to change the permissions and the message I get is:

Command:   SITE CHMOD 755 logs
Response:   500 'SITE CHMOD 755 logs': command not understood

Also here is the error message I get when I go to virutmart/Product page

Path D:\Hosting\123456\html\es/logs to store log information is not writable. Check your folder D:\Hosting\3232548\html\es/logs permissions.
vmError: Couldnt create thumb, file not found D:\Hosting\123456\html\es\images\stories\virtuemart\product\image-1.png

I'm totally exhusted over this and can't figure out what's next.
I really appreciate any help you can give.

Hi Kam,
Just wondering if you figured this out?  I had the same error message and mine ended up being that for some reason some of my image files had been changed to .txt.  Have no idea how/why but I deleted them and re-uploaded as .jpg and all is good..
Thought this may help someone :)
