Ghost products

Currently using VM3.0.8 on Joomla! 3.4.1 Stable [ Ember ] 21-March-2015 20:30 GMT PHP Version 5.5.25-1~dotdeb+7.1

Struggling with non existing products showing (product image unavailable graphic) on following page views - Latest products - Selected products - Random products
Clicking on these images will lead you to a 404 - product does not exist error.
Viewing each separate product category will not show these "ghost products"

I have tried:
1 - turning SEF on and off for both joomla and VM
2 - Update tables in VM tools
3 - Trying a different template

Running VM stats it show that I have 75 active products, but checking manually in VM i cannot find more than 48 products total, and they are all active.
I am not an SQL speshitpillt, but I am starting to suspect inconsistencies in the database. Site is: www.signpad.no

You need to look directly in your database product table to see what is going on -- perhaps demo english products if u used a quick start

I am sure this is due to database inconsistencies.... Like other extensions uses #__assets table. Try to differentiate between a existing and ghost product and you will be able to get to the bottom of it.

It can be also a language issue. Then you have maybe products without language table, or only language table entries, without product
