Sign up for merchant accounts

Hi,

I was wondering if virtuemart is able to allow different merchant to sign up account so they can sell their stuff in my website. Is there any other platform that could allow this if virtuemart is unable to do so?

Search the forum for multi-vendor or similar wording as it gets mentioned periodically. In VM3 the MV functions are improved compared to VM2, but still in an administered multi vendor format.
