Eventus template, Vmart

Hello,

I use
http://themeforest.net/item/eventus-responsive-event-joomla-template/6369836

for my Joomla and want to offer visitors to purchase books from my site.  When I set that template as default in Joomla and Vmart I get blank screen.   IS there any issue in part of vmart engine regarding templating or some templates are not compatible with vmart?
