How to: Add to Cart button link to product detail page

Please how can l change the add to cart button link on Category page to link to product detail page. For some products the customer needs to chose size so l need them to go into the product detail page everytime the click on the add to cart button.

If you have add to cart on the category product listing page then I suspect you are using a commercial template with override files. The default category page of the current VM versions, 2.6.x, does not have the add to cart facility. So you will need to edit your template overrides to remove the extra code. Compare the cetegory override file with the VM default file (at components/com_virtuemart/views/category/tmpl/default.php ).
