Missing add to cart button, only on

Hello,

I have inherited a project and come up against an issue. The Add to cart button for products does not show up except if the product has the "On Featured" option enabled, and then only on a dedicated page (called specials). If a product (with on featured) or not is not on that page the add to cart does not show up. I have checked and made sure that view as cataloge is disabled.

The site was running on Joomla 2.5.11 and VM 2.0 But have upgraded to 2.5.26 and 2.6.6 respectivle and the issue remains. PHP is at version 4.4.

The problem reportedly only happened a day or two ago and the person in charge of it swears they touched nothing.

Check that in Configuration/Shopfront you have the right setting for Action when a Product is Out of Stock.

In case it is template related switch the Joomla template to Beez and see if add to cart displays there.

I have changed the template and unfortunately the issue remains.

I have tried all of the options below and the issue remains too (x is where it was when I found it).

    Products Out of Stock are orderable, no special action
    Do not Display Product
    Do not Display Product, if child products also out of stock
    Displays 'Notify Me' instead of 'Add To Cart' button
x Products Out of Stock are orderable, and the field 'Availability' below is displayed

Any advice on how to proceed?

PHP 4.4? At least 5.31.

Sorry 4.4 is a mistake; it should read 5.4.30.
