Removing shipto address

Hello,

I'm working on my first VM website, and I run into a problem I can't figure out regarding the shipto- address. This is what I do:
-   I order an item which is placed in the cart
-   On the cart page, I create a new customer billto- address
-   VM sends me an e-mail and I confirm my registration
-   I add a shipto- address (button "toevoegen / wijzigen verzendaders" on my site)
-   The new shipto- address is displayed next to the billto- address
-   I press the button "change/modify shipto- address" (button "toevoegen / wijzigen verzendaders" on my site)
-   I press "delete shipto- address" ("verwijder adres" on my site)
-   VM shows the message "Address has been successfully deleted."
-   When I go back to the cart, the shipto- address is still displayed on the page. Only when I log off and log in again, the address is deleted

Also the checkbox "Use for the shipto same as billto address" does not work. When I check this, I receive a confirmation e-mail which still shows the shipto- address; this should be the billto- address. I think this is related to the problem above.

Can someone please help me with this?

disable this - you will loose 50% of your customers  - disable in Joomla admin-> User manager -> options - (button top right)

at this point I get the successfully deleted message and redirected to the bill to address edit (not ideal)

clicking Save or cancel just returns me to index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=user ( again very confusing for customer)

clicking cart module gets me back to index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=cart and yes - ship to address still there

"Use for the shipto same as billto address" just hides it by JS

confirming at this point does correctly fill in the bill to as ship to in the order

But as you say it is not ideal for customers - seems native behaviour on 2.6.1 - haven't tested 2.6.2

So you say there is no solution regarding the shipto adress?

yes - appears this is the native behaviour at the moment - would need some indepth recoding I think to change it..
But would think it is a fairly rare occurance - fill in a shp address and then decide not to use it...
