Category Listing not working properly after updated to 2.6

Hello everyone,

I recently updated my client's website to VirtueMart 2.6 on Joomla 2.5.19. One of the navbar items was a link to a Category Layout that would display all of the categories for the shop along with their image. After the update the link would just display a listing of the store's products. I've attached a screenshot of what the menu item page in the Joomla admin looks like. I can't seem to figure this one out

If that was originally a site that used the categories view, then that view was removed a few versions ago. See http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=120433.0

Ok, while this did fix the original issue now when I click on the category it ends up empty. Again, not sure what to do about this =\
