CSVi VM 2.6 Product import - not all products get thumbnail

Hello,

I posted in the CSVi forum and rolandd had some good ideas. So wanted to follow up here since it appears to be something going on with VM 2.6

I'm using VM 2.6 and Joomla 2.5.19 and CSVi 5.16 and PHP 5.3.28

When I import a csv file with product image as HTTP URL's, some products images will get a proper thumbnail created while others will not. The URL is good I checked the log and debug. Also the HTTP image is written to the server.

However, when you view the product image on a product with this issue, sometimes one of the images will show the full size image with no thumbnail.

Then the 'Used thumb url' will have look like this:

(Default URL) images/stories/virtuemart/product/resized/14_xyz_150x150.jpg

If search the SQL table _virtuemart_medias for LIKE %14_xyz_150x150%

There is not entry. If search the SQL table _virtuemart_medias for LIKE %14_xyz%

I do find the product image entry for the full size image. However, the field 'file_url_thumb' is empty.

So It looks like VM is auto filing the 'Used thumb url' with what it thinks the URL should be. But why include the term '(Default URL)'?

Also searching the file system for 14_xyz_150x150.jpg also turn up no image.

It makes a local copy of a the full size image, but does not make a thumbnail for everyone and only some images?

The max size image is 2709x2709. If I try to just manually replace the image it fails doing the same thing. If I remove the image manually and added it back it works with unaltered images.

Any direction would be great.
