Confirm order button does not clean basket

Dear all, I have one problem, that after clicking to 'confirm order' I get 'thank you for order' page, but my basket is not empty. If I refresh page it is still the same (there are still products which I chose before). Could you please advice me, what I can do? I am using Joomla 2.5.16 and Virtuemart 2.0.22a.

do you have the cache enabled? extension > plugin > joomla cache ... or the cache in the control panel? try disabling it.

An update may help as 2.0.22a was buggy and is now known to be insecure. Current version is 2.0.26d. See http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=118683.0

I updated virtuemart and also Joomla, but it is still the same. Do you have some another suggestions please?

I take it you do mean a basket module and not the actual cart/checkout page. Is your basket the default VirtueMart module,  a third party module or one using overrides?

Problem is that on web page index.php/cart. It is menu item type Shopping cart and it is part of virtuemart components. If I confirm products in cart and than return back to cart page, there are still these products in cart. I updated virtuemart and it is still the same. And I am using VM shopping cart module (part of virtuemart). Thanks

Problem was, that I needed to enable these items below, because I did not have prices for products so I wanted to skip these steps. And I had to just hide prices for products.
