Add participants to product (course)

Hi all

I need some guidelines on how to set up a VirtueMart product and add participants to it?
Links, guides, directions.

I'm about to selling products online. The products is different courses. They are not online, just simple real life course on some date. If user or users would like to participate, they will buy the product, my challenge is, that 1 buyer can buy and register, and eventually pay, but add multiple participant's to the product. It goes like this:

Buy Cource: Cooking 1
Add users:
Joe, John, Maria, Poul.
Price: 4 times 100$ pr. person.

Is that straight forward in VM or do I need tom 3rd party extensions?
