Template Folder Contents

Whilst trying to research some problems I am having I have come across some posts which suggest modifying files which are in my template folder.  However these files are not there.

For example,

In the  HTML folder of the "shoplab" template folder (which I am not using but have loaded) there are  the following files:

com_content
com_virtuemart
mod_search
mod_virtuemart_currencies
mod_virtuemart_product
mod_virtuemart_search


I am using the "OfficePrime" template for my site but in the HTML folder of the template folder there are only these 3 folders:

com_contact
com_content
mod_search

Am I missing some folders?  Or do templates all have different file structures?

Which component views or module views that you over ride is entirely up to the template builder.
The OfficePrime template hasn't any VM over rides so apart from general css changes it is doing nothing to VM

Rule of thumb is ONLY over ride if you need to - any over ride will not be updated when Joomla or VM is so over riding everything for the sake of it is not senseble.
