Joomla Link to Virtuemart Child Categories not working

VM 2.0.22C

Manually linking to virtuemart child categories just load a blank category with no description or products. To load the categories properly with products one has to go shop menu link then drill all the way down to get everything to load - whats wrong?

Thank you for your response.

I had not updated to this yet as the virtuemart downloads and live updater still shows 2.0.22c being the most upto date.

I will try 2.0.22d and come back to you.
