Multilingual shop problem

Hi~ all

I've found some problem in virtuemart, is there someone can help me:

system information:
Joomla! Version:2.5.4 Stable
Virtuemart2 version: 2.0.8a
Virtuemart2 AIO version:2.0.8
Installed Languages in joomla: English(en-GB),Chinese(zh-CN). And Chinese is the default one.

Virtuemart2 setting:
Use only as catalogue: checked.
Multilingual shop: English(en-GB), Chinese(zh-CN)

Here's the problem:
I added a product category in the "Product Categories" page, and fiiled with "chinese test category" in "category name", and save(only save it , didn't close)
I coundn't change the language into "english" until save it.
ok, save the page, and now the Languages list turn to a list, I selected english.and now a warning window popup:
"No (en-gb) translation in Product Category, please fill the fields with flags"
is this a bug?
whatever, keep going:
filled with "english test category" in category name.
and save & close.

now edit the category which just be added again:
the category name just fine in the main language(chinese), and then selected english, no more warning window, but the category name in english was "chinese test category"---it must to be"english test category".
it's weird. where is my content in english?

ok , move on. I cancel the page(don't save it for this time), and check the db in phpMyAdmin:
in the table names: jobsxxx_virtuemart_categories_en_gb
I found the content I just edited:
category_name: "english test category"
slug:"test-cate"

so the content wasn't lost, but virtuemart didn't show it right.

and I try log out the entrie joomla , log in again, edit the category in virtuemart.
now edit the category , it shows fine(i didn't change a thing in the db).
but after edit a category or a product, i have to log out , log in , and edit the category or product again. or it just show no change for me...
I don't want to log out & log in every single time when I added or edited any thing.
is there any solution??

finally, i find the way to fix: just turn off the SEO. the warning window shows when i added a new category or a new product at the first time, but expect that , everytime goes fine.

I don't think that SEO settings are your problem. Perhaps you missed one of the steps described here:

Also, you mentioned only the _virtuemart_categories_en_gb table. Make shure you have the _virtuemart_categories_zh_CN table, too and that your content is saved in the correct language tables.

Hello,
I've the same problem.
The default language is Italian and whe I trie do set up and english category appears the sentence:

"No (en-gb) traduzione in Categoria, si prega di compilare i campi contrassegnati con i Flags"

I use 2.0.22c  j 2.5.14.
