Error: The maximum order level for this product is 1 items.

Dear forum,
I have an issue where my the cart will not allow the user to choose more than one product I get this Error:
'The maximum order level for this product is 1 items.' followed by
'Product not successfully added'

This is a big issue for my client who does a lot of bulk sales.

That may be related to a post,

It did not have any solutions though.
