Hi

I have been using Firebug to modify aspects of the template layout and is somehow familiar with it. However, I am unable to align the Category names to be centred and display on top of the Category images.  I have guestimated that the following line control the layout of the Category names:

.category-view .row .category .spacer h2 a {
   font-size: 14px;

See attached file. I want all the Category names to show like Birthbath - Complete

The vm.css file is in the templates folder.

Any help or guidance will be appreciated.

Kind Regards

ARNOLD

I suppose your screenshot is from your shop frontpage. If you select 'Virtuemart > Front page' as the menu item type in your Joomla 'Shop' menu item, it should display the category names above your images (default for the Front page layout).

Hi jjk

Thanks for your response.

The screen shot is a sub category.

By the way, I am using Joomla 2.5.14 and VM 2.0.22b

Thanks

In case of a subdirectory choosing 'Virtuemart Categories Layout' as the menu item type should display category names on top of the thumbnails, too.

Hi jjk

Maybe just to explain it a bit better.

I have set up a menu item called: Products as a VirtueMart Categories Layout menu item. When one click on the menu item: Products then it shows three categories namely: Garden Products, Building Products, and Fountain Assembling Instructions. See the attached screenshot.

It is when one click on Garden Products, that you get the layout as indicated in the previous screenshot that I want to have change.

Thanks for your help thus far.

Kind Regards

ARNOLD

You have not said which versions of Joomla/VirtueMart you are using or provided a url. But is does look to me as if you are using template overrides - is that a commercial theme or "VM template"?
