Free VM2 Template for everyone to use

There was a post here not to long ago where someone was asking for a free working template for VM2, I tried finding that post but no luck.

If you are still looking for a free VM2 Template I tried this one and made a few changes and it is working great for me.

I don't see anywhere where they are claiming to offer support, What I see is offertrading offering simple help and guidance to those who need it. 

I just know that a lot of people want to use free templates for Virtuemart and offertrading just set it up for people to use and try to understand. 

Offertrading is NOT author of this free template.

I do not see anywhere on the site that Offertrading is claiming to be the author. There are 2 links to download the template and extensions from. One link for the author giving them credit and another to make it easier so that someone does not have to open up 10 different windows to get everything.

No where on the site are they trying to sell anything... As matter a fact all I see is "FREE"

OMG you guys are freaking kidding me right....

The FREE template shown at offertrading.com/virtuemart2 is only a collection of the free extensions, modules and the template that is available online for any one of us to download and instructions on how they were layed out to duplicate this site for others to use...

It even stats on the front page

Every extension used to build this Virtuemart 2 Template is free. All the templates and the extensions are listed here with a download link. There are two links, one for downloading from here or you can download from the person or people who created the extensions and the Template that were used to create this package.

Which apparently was not clear enough so now I have changed it to read.

I do not own or claim to own any of the extensions, modules, template or any other software that was used to put this package together. All I have done is listed here with instructions on how to create a completely free Virtuemart 2 webiste by using these extensions, modules, and template.

I did not and had no intentions to as you said

But even with you trying to make me out to look no better then a common theft I just went back and doubled check my colors and I cannot seem to make LineLab.org footer tag and links show up. So I went back and added there info to my footer pic and is linked to them.

Why in the hell would I try to deliberate hide them when I am linking them to where they can download the template under my instructions and downloads ??    Makes no sense to me at all.....


All this was supposed to be was a guide to help others who are new, or maybe can't afford to buy the other templates out there. That was it.

I am not sure why people are choosing to jump all over this instead of offering some useful info like " Hey great guide/instructions you took the time to make for others to build from. Can I offer some friendly advice please ? Maybe do this to your site or maybe add this so that it will give more information to others and also give more credit to those who have built these extensions. modules or templates"


But whatever I am sure this will be deleted because this thread has turned more into a rant then anything helpful.   Typical how easy people can try and point out the possible bad things that could be happening instead believing that nothing but good intentions were put into all this...

It was not clear for you what you did wrong. So everybody here need to understand what does it mean.

You use link to YOUR web site as a storage of mentioned free template.

What responsibility do you take by doing this?

What would happen if YOUR version of this template WILL BE NOT THE SAME as original version? ..

To keep things simple and to try give more credit to the ones out there who created good extensions and makes them available for free, I just removed the links that would let someone download it from my site ( http://offertrading.com/virtuemart2/instruction-virtuemart-2 )and linked the site themselves for each extension, module and template instead.

Seems to me that has been what has created some issues with all this and I was only trying to make things easier for others.

Actually you are doing right things, I agree. Web site where this free template was published by its author is confusing and it's not simple to discover how to download this VM theme. Do you know url in 3rd party forum where this free template was presented firstly in the past?
