HELP WITH TEMPLATE INSTALLATION

I am sorry if my question is repetitive or childish but i have tried and tried again to find the answer and i have failed which is why i have come here to ask you all for help

I'm using Virtuemart 2.0.6 with joomla 2.5 and i want to change the layout of the shop for which i downloaded some free templates similar to this http://www.freevirtuemarttemplates.com/free-virtuemart-template . I have completed the setup for both joomla and virtuemart using wamp on my own computer (im trying to first try it out locally before uploading it) but i cant seem to understand how to install these templates, the process given in the readme file of these templates is something that i am unable to comprehend so i would be forever in your debt if you guide me step by step through the process of installing the template given in the above link OR if you can refer me some other virtuemart templates that i can use.

Any and every word of advice would be highly appreciated and thanks in advance
