Price Calculation Bug

Hello,

I believe I found a bug in Virtumart:

1) Set the following rule: "price modifier after tax" + 20%
2) On the product: Final Price $1, Cost price blank, 'Calculate the Cost price' checked, next to Final price is my rule selected
3) I click Save

Now I should get Base price calculated properly as: Final Price - 20%. The base price should be 0.8$, but it is 0.83333$!! This is a serious mistake!

What I am trying to do is to enter final prices in the store and get my cost price calculated properly as I make 20% profit margin. I do not use any taxes. There are also no other rules.

I use VM 2.0.20b
Joomla: Joomla version, 2.5.9

No, this is not a Vm bug

Take this. Add to the value 9 30%,.. what is this? 12, yes? 9*0.3+9 = 12, but when you take 30% from 12, you get 8 !

Hi,

So how do I accomplish this:

1) Enter final price (show to user) - This is after 20% discount
2) Calculate for all items in the store BEFORE DISCOUNT PRICE as Final price - 20% of that price.
3) I want to show this final price in red, while BEFORE DISCOUNT price as black and crossed over

How to do it?

Go in the product, set the prices to generic, create correct rules, then you see that your product is using this rules, enter your final price with discount, check the "calcuate final price" box. Store it and done.
