Hi, I have a issue with the shopping cart not updating correctly

After adding 3 different products the cart does not up date properly,   it will update on the product page but not in the shopping cart page,  then if you delete one of the existing products from the cart it will then show the missing product,  refreshing the page does not work.

have tried turning of the cache  -  no change
have tried turning of additional plugins / components -  no change
have tried changing to the default template -  no change
have tried different browsers on both mac & pc  - no change

I saw a variety of errors and difficult to nail down the culprit. The site was really slow and add to cart only seems to work in https - but then there is a warning on every page about insecure content items. There is so much JavaScript loading that conflicts are almost inevitatable. At least 2 versions of jQuery when there should only be one, so look first to correct that which almost certainly from the Joomla template. I have frequently seen js issues with Artisteer templates so you may need to remove as much of their js code as possible - their menu system has previously been identified as a potential problem, preventing AJAX function.

You could also try using jQueryEasy - see http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=111843.0
