user ordering same product +products in stock

Hello!
situation:
-some users add product to cart but dont checkout
-new stock level gets imported daily/other costumer checks out before, buys the same product
-user has got a full cart wants to checkout (some stock levels changed in the meantime

.....How to deal with this situation best? any experiences?
