Hello to all,
I made for one of my clients an e-commerce site using Virtuemart (version 2.0.6).
Currently the product categories of VM are divided by Brands and product type (eg Gucci - shirt) and the menu navigation of the site you can choose to browse by product type (eg Men's Shirts - I see all men's shirts all the Brand in the store) or brand (eg Gucci Women - see all the products Gucci Women present) what I should do now, is a third division, that is, once you decide to navigate pre Brand I get the list of all products of the brand, but if I try a specific thing I have to scroll through everything that I was asked, I should therefore creating a module to be included in the category of the Brand selected in which there will be rumors CLOTHING, SHOES and ACCESSORIES (only for that specific brand, Men's or Women's) to do this, the only solution that I can think of is to create a third category of goods of VMs will be at Ex Gucci Women Clothing and so on, through which I will be able to make an additional "skimming" that allows me to refine your search. This solution needless to say, it would be a great job, given the current categories in the number of products to be updated (over 1500), so if there was a way to overcome this division, it would be much better!

A perfect example of what I realize is this site: http://www.leam.com/it/shop/gucci-uomo

Thanks to all

Sounds like you need to try this: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=100913.0

VirtueMart 2.0.6 is now quite old and known to be insecure so you should consider updating. You may need to redo some template overrides if you use them.

Using this Plugin i don't have to create new category?
I know that it can be dangerous, but the template that i'm using, doesn't works with new VM version...  :(

Try the free version and see if it could work for you. It can make large stores much easier to navigate by the customer.

There can be a lot of cost and great inconvenience if an insecure site gets hacked. Usually the problem with commercial templates is that the template overrides need editing/updating. If the original supplier is not willing to help or offers no support then you could always edit them yourself. And never buy a template from that supplier again!
