Default product sorting

Running VM 2.0.18a

I have the default product sort order to product price, but there is no way to choose ascending or descending. By default the sort order is from low to high, but I want to change that. I can't seem to find the PHP file to edit that. Anyone else come across this issue?

I have the same problem. Is there any way to reverse to descending order without writing programme lines ?

Thanks to Maxim. I went to http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=97045, but couldn't see a solution. I have Joomla 2.5.14 and VM 3.0.22a. I think this is the latest, but still no easy answer to my problem.
