Problem VM Frontpage and add to cart

VM ( I use VM 2.0.20b) has some strange behaviour in case of VM frontpage and SEF. Using VM frontpage as default page for Joomla and using the newest products or featured products for example inside the shop frontpage, add to cart does work. But adding something to the cart, going to the cart page, removing the added product and clicking on the continue shopping button inside the cart page does not go back to the frontpage. It goes page to a page like: homepage/component/virtuemart/ which in that case is the the VM start page (without any modules) but not the correct homepage.
It seems, that the redirect link from the cart page 'continue shopping' does not use the homepage menu link from the Joomla menu, instead something wrong routed. The problem just occurs in the described case (VM frontpage add to cart), it does not occur when adding something from a product list page or product detail page.

Hi I have tried to replicate this problem - I turned on SEF in Joomla and then set show latest product on the from page.
* I added the product , went to the cart , deleted the product, clicked on the continue shopping and it sent me back to the right Category.

* I remember in VM2 development that this was a request of many. That when you clcik continue shopping it would send you back to the category that you were just on and not back to the front page.

I'm just wondering if the latest product may be in an odd category that you have set - eg, might be set that category as a special group ? 

* Sorry I could not help in resolving he problem but at least you know it works for others and might just be a setting and not a bug.

could find out what was going wrong. It was a wrong entry in the htaccess, provoking to use non www url, which obviously did produce some confusion. After changing that, it works now as expected.
