Bill To Information Being Required

I'm having an issue in shopping cart, when a user goes to check out it says for them to fill out all the required fields, but all required fields visible are filled out. After searching and playing around with the cart it looks like it is still requiring the Ship To information to be filled out even with the Add/Edit shipment address box unchecked. I found that out by checking the Ship To box after it had given me the fill out all required fields error message and it had those fields highlighted. It was also tempermental in my tests, where it would work sometimes but not always and I tested it with firefox and chrome.

I think you need to update your versions rather than hunt this issue down which could be related to a bug in VM2.0.8.

and Virtuemart versions below 2.0.10 are considered as unsecure. Current versions are Joomla 2.5.9 and VM2.0.20
