Product Display and Price Visibility with JQuery variation

J 2.5.9 / VM 2.0.18a

I believe this may be a template conflict but can't work out how to fix.

PRODUCT DETAILS DISPLAY PAGE...(i.e. product image, a couple of thumbnails, price description and Add to Cart info)

VIRTUEMART JQUERY ON
Image and thumbnails show, product description and Add to Cart 1/2 etc, all show BUT any product with a Custom Field selection option, PRICE does not show (If no Custom field/s, then price shows okay)
VIRTUEMART JQUERY OFF
Image and thumbnails DISAPPEAR, product description and Add to Cart 1/2 etc, all show BUT NOW any product with a Custom Field selection option, PRICE DOES show (If no Custom field/s, then price still shows okay)

Confusing, but all my searching has dwindled down to this finding so am under the belief that it is a jquery conflict but am far from a jquery user/fixer or knowing anything about jquery so calling on help!
