Price matrix possible?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a web shop solution for a client that will allow him to show a specific price / discount rate depending on:

• The customer who is logged in
  
  
• The particular product or product category being viewed.

For example:

• "Customer A" gets a 10% discount on "Product 1" and 20% on "Product 2"
  
  
• "Customer B" gets a 15% discount on "Product 1" and 25% on "Product 2"

This gives me a matrix with a (potentially) different result for each combination "Customer" / "Product"

Can VirtueMart do this? If not, are there third-party plug-ins for VirtueMart that do this?

you can set multiple shopper groups,and multiple prices per product.

I dont know if that is what you are looking for or not.

I was trying to test the functionality on the demo site, but I think it may be preventing me from using some functions. I see a warning message "hacking attempt".

I downloaded VirtueMart and am going to try to install it with my local Joomla installation (xampp).

Hi, I have exactly the same question. 

But I have an XML file file with customers and product(group) discounts.
I could create (script) a shopper group for every customer. But how does this relate tot the products discount?
