Hi,

I'm looking for a solution where the print and pdf icons would work in the cart view too. I have successfully added them to the page but have no idea of how to get them to work similar as on product details view. Anybody knowing a solution for this?

My question is because I like customers to be able to make a shopping list to print out or save as pdf. Then they can bring this list to my retailers (they are not allowed to buy from me). I'm grateful for all help I can get on this one.

Printing out a cart page may not provide the best way to do this. Have you thought about using a wishlist? - see http://sleekapps.codingmall.com/products/30-wish-list-for-virtuemart

Thank you!

I check this option to see if it could be something. I had the cart almost working as I liked to but needed the print och pdf functionality. But maybe the wish list is better.

I have now looked further into this and it seem like it's not possible to exchange the "add to chart" button with "save to my wish list" with these solutions. Ideally what I like is:
- registered retailers would be able to login and order through the normal cart functionality
- guests would only be able to create a cart list they could print, make pdf or e-mail
- cart should always be saved from the last session (at least for a week), preferably even though the guest isn't logged in.

The last action about keeping the front end session for a week or so even though the customer isn't logged in - it feels like this would be a simple thing just by keeping the session cookie for guests open even when the browser is closed but I can't find where to do that. Anybody having a suggestion?

I'm greateful for all the help I can get here. I have searched a lot but can't find a good solution.

Thanks
Patrick
