Maybe it is a caching problem with javascript, like the doubled tabs, which appeared for some people the first login, but deleting the browser cache "fixed" it. It would be really nice to understand this problem.

Then you must check the price. Be sure there is only one price, dont set any shoppergroup, empty the quantity or set it to 0.
