SHOW CART LINK MISSING AND CART NOT POPULATING

I have tried everything I can think of and cannot get the cart to populate or the "show cart" link to show

Hello,

Have you installed and enabled aio extensions (cart module may be?)
Have you also tried with the default vm theme withous overrides?

Thanks for checking this out. 

I tried many things and everything you listed - we are definitely having conflicts with the SEF component and also OPC

HOWEVER - I even reverted back to before I installed OPC and AceSEF and was having VM 2 cart population issues even then

I will keep testing and have a VM2 programmer check this out and post back any solutions I find

Always develop a site WITHOUT SEF. Once it is working OK then you can try with SEF, and if the site then is broken you know immediately the cause. Too many hours are wasted by turning SEF on at the start as this makes problems much more difficult to diagnose.
