Message on "Configuration" page I don't understand

First, let me say that I didn't make my site, but the business who made it will not answer this question for me, so I'm looking for other help.... I found this message on my Configuration page, and I don't know what it means, nor what I should do to fix it :
Warning, the Safe Path is empty, for safety reasons it is very important to create a folder in a path not accessible by an URL, create also a folder invoices in it to store your sensible data secure. Our suggested path is for your system /home/sytian1/public_html/clients/vmfiles
