Spam Email from Virtuemart 2.0.4

Hello People ,

Im Mike Allwyn , a php developer from india, i have customised virtuemart for one of my client some times back , currentl the system sends automatica email spam to all the users and sends reports to the admin user , we are not sure why this kind of strange behaviour started up . i checked all the configuration part and even checked the plugiins but we are not able to identify why this issue still exists. Can anyone help us in this regards . Thanks

You don't provide much information, such as Joomla/VirtueMart versions, but the usual solution for spam mails from any application is to install a Captcha.
