Adding Meta Data to main storefront/shop home page?

When analyzing the meta description being generated for the main storefront or shop home page, no meta data is being generated nor is there a place to add or change.  On any other category page or product page VM2 is great for adding meta data and keywords.  Example, http://www.renovocom.com/products

Did take a look into your page and did see a joomla menu link named 'Products'. So you can enter metadata into that menu link by simply going into the backend, choosing the menu and there the menu entry 'Products'. There should be a tab on the right called meta data. There you can enter your meta data for the shop main page!

Well, I got excited too quickly.  I updated the Joomla menu link as recommended, saved, cleared cache, verified the save took.  Unfortunately, it did not change and I still have the same result as before.  Not sure why, but I can give you access to check out in more detail.
