Add to cart against product list

HI

My shop listed all the categories 1st and when a category is selected it then lists all the products in the category.  Is it possible to have the add to cart against each of these products at this point, as at the moment you have to click the product, which then gives the detail, to be able to add to cart.

I have tried this but it does not work, I have been place the code at the end of components\com_virtuemart\views\productdetails\tmpl\default.php
