Copy function for Shipment Methods ?

Is that possible have a Copy function for the Shipment Methods ?
I need to setup a shipping charge for 0.5kg to 5kg (increase every 0.5kg , that mean 0.5kg , 1kg , 1.5kg ...etc until reach 5kg) , then need to split the country into 4 zone.
So I need to create 10 x 4 = 40 shipment methods manually . Is that have a "Copy" function ?
Because each Zone , it will over 10 country , so create each record without Copy function is very very painful...

I was just about to post the same question ...

It would be useful to be able to copy a shipping method then just edit the weight range and price, instead of having to go through the coutry selection process each time.

Perhaps this could be included in the next version?

It will be nice to have a copy function, indeed (or Duplicate as called in Joomla 2.5+).

In the meantime, if you can use phpMyAdmin, edit the table (always backup before!)
(prefix)_virtuemart_shipmentmethods:
- create in VM back end the required number of rates, with their names only (leave the "configuration" tab empty
- one of the rate should be completed, to be copied to other = note its ID - if you have 4 list of countries, crete 4 "sample" rates
- in phpMyAdmin, open this ID, and copy the "shipment_params" content
- edit all the other rates in phpMyAdmin, and paste this content into the related field
- in VM admin, edit the rate and weight, but your contries list should be ok then!

Hi Developers,

I've just been loading/sorting shipping info.

There are a few tweaks to the countries that might be useful to include in next changes:
You could add these missing countries - Balearic Islands (near Spain), Corsica, Azores, Kosovo, Madeira and Montenegro (all in Europe) and Guernsey (a Channel Island, for postal purposes part of the UK)?  East Timor appears twice in the lists.

Also, it would save huge time were the different shipment methods/names copy-able as has been done with products.

I do agree about Montenegro (alpha codes ME and MNE)  and Guernsey (alpha codes GG and GGY).
But not about Corsica: it is a French region, not an independent country, and has the same postal rates as France.
