Is there a way the VM 2 can have separte prices for one product with many options but NOT have to add to a base price.  I am trying to get an answer regarding this issue and also have seen other post showing how VM 1 use to allow you to do this but VM 2 doesn't.

I would like to have it when you click on option 1 its $$, and when you click on option 2 its $$

Not like this
Base price = $
option 1 = Base price $ + $$ = $$$
option 2 = Base price $ + $$ = $$$

As of now, I have loaded both Virtumart 2.0.6 and also JoomShopping 3.6.1 on to my site.  I have purchased other modules for Virtumart and have had everything set up for the past few weeks and tried to get some answers on if this is possible to do this on VM 2.0.6 but have not received any good answers.  After loading JoomShopping onto my site and setting it up, it seems to work the way VM 1 worked.

Conclusion:

I would like to stay with Virtumart because of its features but would like to get this all resolved.  I have attached the image of how I am trying to get a product page to look like but I have also posted this in multiple areas with no luck.

Thanks in advance!

Shawn

I d like to help you but it seems that the posts is addressed only to Milbo and BanquetTables. ;)

I would like to see that option as well.  It was the whole reason I implemented parent/child products over a year ago for VM 1.1 and not it is no longer available.  Software upgrade should add or improve features, not delete them.

This post is for anyone that has the answer and that can help.

Thanks,
Shawn

can anyone please answer some of these questions

Not sure I understand what you are asking correctly, but you can have a custom field of type cart varient,
so widget=5$
widget in red=7$

custom field =2

????

If you look above you can see an  image of what I am trying to do.

Thanks!

Hi

I think that the only way to do this is to use Child Products.

You have to do some modifications to the product details page to be able to add to the cart directly the child product that you prefer.
